Why LightMap
Easy of use

The user experience was at the top of our list from the beginning. It is possible to use LightMap without much training, even if a long time has passed between the last use of LightMap, you are immediately back in the workflow.

Connectivity

Wide communication across layers, so your existing infrastructure can easily be used further. All scene parameters can be easily controlled via sACN, ArtNet or OSC

Stability

The basis for stability is the distribution of screen outputs across multiple computers, ensuring that the entire system is not affected in the event of a single failure.

Mobility

By splitting the processes, it is possible to use smaller devices. In an art project, 40 Intel NUC's were used, these were used directly on the projector, thus eliminating the need for complex HDMI cabling. Only one network connection to each device is needed.

What LightMap can do
Real-time compositing

Compositing combines visual elements from different sources into a single image. Compositing is usually an offline process and can take some time. With compositing built into the engine, users can easily visualize combined scenes in real time.

sACN / ART-NET / OSC

Wide communication across layers, so that your existing infrastructure can easily continue to be used. All scene parameters can be easily controlled from a central console.

Multi Display

Multiple devices can be synchronized. This allows large projects to be carried out with little effort.

Live Input

LightMap supports the most popular video and audio recording devices that can be played back within the LightMap Engine, with low latency. For example, you can record a live video from your webcam and play it directly in your scene.

Scheduler / Cue‘s

With the built-in scheduler, pre-configured scenes can be played automatically and autonomously. The systems are started and stopped at a specific, configurable time. So you do not waste unnecessary time with the control.

Mobile App

Nothing is better than an app. Easy configuration via a mobile device. There are no limits to your flexibility.

Principles
LightMap Development Principles
PyramidOfSuccess.jpg

01

The pyramid of success

Our philosophy is that success is the result of first achieving reliability, then scalable performance, and finally extensibility. That brings you a rock solid foundation.

02

As easy as driving a car

Our usable product is easy to learn. In this busy and competitive world, no one has time to use a product which is difficult to understand.

03

Scalable Performance

We don't just want performance, we want scalable performance—an architecture that performs reliably well on low-end and high-end machines, and across OS platforms.

04

Pro level

There should be no mysterious performance cliffs. And, you should not need to work around missing built-in features.

It should just work.
